Large Loss Client Reviews

Luke, Dorian, Jared, and the rest of the team at Building Investigation Services have been a key partner for us over the past few years, supporting at least five large loss projects over 100,000 square feet. They mobilize quickly, assess conditions efficiently, and provide moisture mapping and environmental guidance that is clear, detailed, and easy to act on. Their moisture maps truly feel like they should be the standard. The reports they produce are thorough enough to send straight to carriers, and having a neutral third party expert like Luke’s team communicating with adjusters consistently leads to smoother conversations, zero pushback, and faster approvals. Building Investigation Services is our go to resource when we need speed, accuracy, and defensible documentation on complex losses.

I always appreciate working with Luke and his team on complex projects. Being able to show the customer understandable documentation of the extent of an issue helps set a high standard from the very beginning of a project. All members of the team are well-versed and efficient at their craft, and their professionalism is evident whenever they’re on site.

Luke and his team are great to work with. They provide exceptional and prompt service and always make themselves available day and night. Our company works with them frequently on environmental service needs and are very happy with how they treat us and our customers. Would highly recommend them to anyone! Great job Luke and Team!!

I had BIS perform combustion byproduct sampling after a fire to determine the extent of damages present. They communicated well, and performed the testing quickly and efficiently. I would recommend BIS.

In May of 2024 we were asked to respond to a loss in Rogers, AR. This building had a footprint of 250K SF and was heavily damaged by a tornado. With the power being out and our initial walkthrough scheduled for days after the event, we needed to do a thorough moisture map of the building to see the extent of the damage. We called Luke Spence, owner of Building Investigation Services, to help us scope the building. Luke’s team was on site the next day and started the task of not only doing a moisture check throughout the building but developing a demo scope. They did a wonderful job with documentation and ultimately we had a very happy customer. Great team to work with, highly recommend!
